Katherine J. Hill
Katie founded Hicks Hill, LLC in 2018 with the experienced guidance of Sam Hicks. Prior to founding
Hicks Hill, LLC, Katie and Sam worked together at Hicks, Casey & Morton, P.C. for over a decade,
where Katie gained an exceptional understanding of the bankruptcy laws, debt settlement tactics and
overall asset protection strategies through Sam's 40+ years of experience. While Sam retired from
the practice of law in 2018, he remains a trusted advisor on an as-needed basis.
Katie differentiates her practice through her focus on client relationships and thorough attention to detail.
She realizes that financial hardships put a unique strain on individuals and small businesses, and she
diligently works to guide clients throughout the process, whether it be a bankruptcy filing or settlement strategies outside of bankruptcy. It is important that clients feel comfortable with each step of the process, and Katie's personable demeanor and thorough knowledge of the processes ensure that comfort.
Katie grew up in Marietta, graduating from Walton High School. She attended The University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill, graduating with a B.S.B.A. in 2004, and went on to gain her law degree from The University of Georgia in 2007. She currently resides in the Metro Atlanta Area with her husband and two sons.
